Whitehall claims to be the Birthplace of the U.S. Navy. It is also the place where the Champlain Canal meets the head of Lake Champlain. There are several waymarks created that highlight some features of this location.

Visit - This post is located in a building that says, "Masonic Hall" on it. Is it still a Masonic Hall?

Visit - This museum and tourism information center is the place to be to learn the history of Whitehall, including a copy of the bill sent by Benedict Arnold to the Continental Congress to pay expenses for building boats here.

Visit - This is quite a comprehensive memorial, put up by the the American Legion Post across the street.
