In Whitehall, along Main Street, is Riverside Park.

The park is located on the west side of Champlain Canal, just south of the truss bridge over the canal.

Riverside Park is a treed green that is placed between the road and the canal. To the south is the Whitehall Fire Dept. building. There are walks and benches around the property. On the slope at the north side are letters in the ground that state Riverside Park. There is a long war memorial for several wars along the wall to the east. A gazebo is in the southeast corner. There are at least two markers that state that Whitehall is the birthplace of the U.S. Navy. And there is a marker about Benedict Arnold.
