Long Description:
SOM designed four skyscrapers fronting Louisiana Street between Dallas and Walker Streets. El Paso Energy Building was the first, built in 1963 on the eastern side of the street. The other three buildings are adjacent on the western side of Louisiana – 1100 Louisiana (1980), Wells Fargo Plaza (1983) and One Shell Plaza (1971) – leading some to dub these three blocks ‘Skidrow.’
