Quick Description: Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) used elements from their 1969 design of the Bank of America Center in San Francisco when designing 1100 Louisiana in 1980. The side profile of this 756-ft. pink granite skyscraper forms an ‘L’ when viewed from Dallas Street.

Long Description:SOM designed four skyscrapers fronting Louisiana Street between
Dallas and Walker Streets.

street. The other three buildings are adjacent on the western side
of Louisiana – 1100 Louisiana (1980),
