This one-story house was built in 1867 for Mary Ann Harris-Chambers to replace her previous, smaller home at this same location. Mrs. Harris lived at the house a short time before moving to a farm outside of the city. One of Mrs. Chambers's daughters married John Love and the house remained in the Love family until 1890. Today the house continues to be used as a private residence.
