This church now remains as a historical structure and only available for private tours, and is one of many contributing buildings in the
Jacksonville Historic District.
The First Presbyterian Church was organized by Rev. Moses A. Williams on November 22, 1857 and was the FIRST Presbyterian Church to be established in all of Southern Oregon. The foundation for this church was initially begun September, 1879 and the final dedication occurred on Church Dedication Day - 1st Sabbath of December. Reverend W. Hill (Salem, OR) assisted Father Moses Williams.
The PDF link to the NRHP nomination form that mentions this church as a contributing building kept giving me errors so I located a web link to the mention of this church as a contributing building from the University of Oregon's Digital Archives here.
