Every kid and many adults look for a chance to pretend to be an Army soldier or Navy sailor in combat -- firing away at wartime enemies behind one of these big guns. Here's a chance to do it.

Find a static artillery display WHERE IT IS PERMITTED TO CLIMB ON and have someone take your picture blasting away at the enemy COMBATANT of your choice.

We accomplished this photo goal on one of the historic 3-inch anti-aircraft guns that were installed the USS TEXAS (BB 35) in 1916. At that time, not only was the TEXAS the most powerful weapon in the world, she was the first ship in the fleet to have permanent anti-aircraft defenses.

You must provide an image of yourself meeting the photo goal and you must also provide the coordinates where you were able to perform the photo goal. Further story about how you were able accomplish the photo goal and any other activities associated with it would be a great thing to include. We’d love to hear about your adventure!
