This is a two-story brick building constructed in 1907 in the Romanesque Revival style. It stands on the northeast corner of S.W. 2nd Street and W. Broadway. The second floor has a row of round arched windows which have a continuous buff brick lintel, with stone slip sills. All these windows are boarded up and the second floor is not in use at this time.

A row of corbelled brick decorates the upper wall, and just below the stone coping at the roof line is a series of narrow recessed panels outlined in buff brick. The parapet is embattled, with projections above the roof line on the west side of the building.

The storefront facing W. Broadway has an aluminum and glass single entry door on the right, with three display windows to the left. The clerestories are boarded up and display the name of the occupant, John Dugger Insurance Agency. This building was occupied by Charles Hardware back in the 1950s.

On the south end of the side elevation, a ghost sign from former days is visible. It reads, partially, "Drink Coca-Cola" and "DRUGS." This building is Item 36 on the District nomination.
