This is an attractive building which has become rundown over the years. Hopefully it will be part of Okmulgee's restoration program.

The N. McKimbley Building is located at 100 S. Seminole Avenue. This is a three-story dark red brick building, constructed in 1918 in the Early Commercial style. Decoration has been achieved outlining the bays, and in the formation of diamond shapes by use of white mortar to accentuate the bricks which are laid in varying patterns. At the center of the upper wall, a herringbone pattern is used with the stone panel inscribed "N. McKIMBLEY".
Brick columns separate the north wall into three bays and the east wall into five. The north wall has display windows only in two bays, with the entry in the west bay. The bays along Seminole contain overhead doors, a mural, and display windows, with a lone entrance in the northeast corner of the building. The building is vacant and the storefronts, clerestories, and all windows are boarded up.
On the second and third levels of the east elevation, the windows are set singly with three to a bay, except for the northeast corner bay which has four. On the north side, the windows are paired with one pair in the outer bays and two pairs in the center. The corner bays have a roof line that is raised slightly to accentuate these corners. At the roof line, the brick is laid in a diamond pattern.
This building is Item 138 on the District nomination.
