The Old City Hall building at 115 N. Morton is a two-story brick and sandstone building on the southeast corner of N. Morton and W. 5th Street. It was built in 1908 and currently houses the Okmulgee Police Department.
The main entrance faces west. The entry bay is slightly projected, with a pair of tall arched windows on the second floor and a raised arched entryway with stairs leading to the doors. At the roof line of this projected bay is a stepped pediment with a name block reading "CITY HALL". The basement is exposed with rusticated limestone facing. Basement windows have all been infilled with masonry blocks.
At the northwest corner of the building, a square tower rises above the roof line. The tower has a domed pressed metal roof, with a pair of arched windows on each side. The rectangular windows on both floors have one-over-one double hung sashes, with the second floor windows having a fixed transom. The windows on both floors have continuous stone lintels and sills.
This building is Item 112 (Item 3 in the Significant Buildings listing) on the District nomination.
