The building at 117-121 W. Oklahoma Avenue covers three lots. The original, westernmost two-thirds of the building was constructed in 1899 as a two-story. In 1909, the building to the east was incorporated into this building, and the renovation resulted in the addition of the third story. The original two storefronts are surrounded by black carrera glass which was added in the 1920s.
This building is also known as The Lintz Department Store, and is referred to as F.O. Lutz Building in the Historic Landmark nomination. This is a three-story brick and stone building in the Neo-Classical Revival style. The second and third stories have large rectangular window openings. A brick cornice below the stepped parapet gives the resemblance of a gabled pediment.
The building is mostly vacant at this time, however, is occupied at the 117 address by Extra Special Fabric, a store specializing in Western, Southwest and unusual fabrics.
