The playground has four sandy areas, two with swing sets and two with play structures. Bathrooms and drinking fountains are nearby. Parking is adjacent to the playground after entering the Cottonwood Lake area of Hellyer Park. The park is easily accessible by taking the Hellyer Avenue exit from Highway 101.
