Hellyer County Park is 354-acre in size and is built around the meandering Coyote Creek. The park includes such activities a a
bicycle velodrome,
off leash dog area,
playground and picnic areas. Both the
Coyote Creek and
La Raza disc golf courses are located within Hellyer Park.
The popular Coyote Creek Parkway is a flat, paved trail for hikers, bikers and skaters that goes south for 15 miles to Anderson Reservoir.
Fishing is permitted year round at Cottonwood Lake and during fishing season in the Coyote Creek. Cottonwood Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout from November through late April.
The park is open year-round from 8AM until sunset. Current fees are posted at the entrance station.
