This Time Capsule is to be opened on the 100th Anniversary of the commissioning of the Moffet Field Naval Air Station.

This time capsule is located on the parade grounds of
Moffet Field Naval Air Station, now known as Ames Research Center. Moffett Field, then known as NAS Sunnyvale was commissioned on 12 April 1933. This Time Capsule is to be opened on 12 April 2033, the 100th anniversary.
The capsule is located at the foot of a sundial which was dedicated in 1933. The capsule was not positioned until 01 July 1994, shortly after the Navy turned over operations of Moffet Field to NASA.
The plaque reads:
100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
TIME CAPSULE PLACED
01 JULY 1994
TO BE OPENED ON
2 APRIL 2033
Oddly, the upper left of the four screws holding the the plaque, is a phillips head, while the other three are slot head screws.
