This dated building and its expansion was a Chrysler/Plymouth dealership in downtown Kingsport.

When I wandered downtown Kingsport one evening, I could not find a dated building anywhere. The local churches have scripture, but not appropriate dates on their cornerstones. I finally spied this location, but the pictures were too dark to be suitable postings, thus were deleted. I came back due to the Vintage Ads category after copying a used car advertisement out of the January 1939 Kingsport Times-News. The library photo archives also confirm this location was Mills Motors (
1946 photo). Although the original 1933 dealership building at 223 Commerce looks to have expanded in 1936, I am just posting one waymark for the combined structure.
