Middleport Pottery, is a complex of Victorian pottery buildings located on Port Street in Middleport, Burslem.
The Grade II* listed site was constructed in 1888, for Burgess & Leigh Limited, as a model factory for the production of what became the world-renowned “Burleigh” earthenware. It is a red-brick maze, containing historic machinery, archives and historic collections. The pottery received the Europa Nostra Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2015.
