The large mural that runs alongside the towpath opposite Middleport Pottery was created by Art students from Stoke-on-Trent College.

The mural is on wooden boards sprayed blue. It depicts a red and yellow poppy, a bee, duck, butterfly, moth, tree trunk and the words 'ay up duck'.

"Art students from Stoke on Trent College have inspired designs for a large mural along the towpath opposite Middleport Pottery.
