The Kettle Valley Rail Trail passes through the
Kettle River Recreation Area, crossing the Kettle River within it on a
two span truss bridge. It is on the centre concrete pier of this bridge that one will find 420J, monumented on its top on the north side of the bridge. Direct access to 420J is no longer possible, but it is easily seen by leaning over the north side railing.
