Walter S. Lathrop-Joseph J. Bennett Double Block 139 West Maple Street 1900-1901 Queen Anne

- National Register Application

My Commentary:
This appears to be an interesting first floor fenestration setup for this building. The central recessed wooden door leads to the second story. The rest of the fenestration is for the drug store. There is a two-pane bay window with a vertical metal mullion. On the right side of the central door is the main entry of the drug store - a single pane bay window, the metal and glass door with a glass transom, and another single pane bay window. A cedar shake shingled canopy covers the entire fenestration.

The second story has a three sided oriel window to the left; a single glazed window with a brick sill and brickwork lintel in the center; and two double hung windows with a stone sills and brickwork lintels on the right. The cornice is dentilated.
