A 1 1/2 story gable-roofed clapboarded structure. The central entrance has a bracketed hood above and a bay window on either side of it, and a small open side porch leads to another entrance into the east wing of the building. The building was used by George L. Hopkins, a blacksmith, as his shop and remodeled in the late-nineteenth century into a dwelling.
