EN "Certain sources designate J. Duquesnes as the creator of this superb park, with sinuous and shaded alleys, while others attribute it to the no less famous Louis Fuchs. The hilly appearance of the paths and the seemingly natural planting of the trees give the park a spontaneous side and a romantic composition that preserves the privacy of the strollers. At the same time spontaneous, picturesque and stamped with romanticism, its composition, more pictorial than architectural, fits fully into the English style. There are precious and exotic tree species but also sculptures: busts of Queen Astrid and François-Joseph Navez, as well as a beautiful bandstand rebuilt after the first world war in rustic style."
