"The Queen Anne style was also popular during the turn of the century. Common details of the Queen Anne style include asymmetrical plans, large porches will milled columns, eave vergeboard, wood shingles in the gable fields and bay windows. Only a few examples of the Queen Anne styple [sic] were recorded in Bolivar including the Cox-Wiggens House." ~ Visit Historic Bolivar
