This is one of many granite posts used to mark the "corner" points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the City of Beverly and the Town of Manchester. It is approximately eight inches thick, eighteen inches wide, and two feet high.

The marker is located on the north side of Route 127, next to an entrance to the Landmark School. It is between the sidewalk and a stone wall.

The next adjacent marker heading northwest is Beverly-Manchester 1, 1.0 miles.
The next adjacent marker heading southeast is Beverly-Manchester 2 WM, about 20 yards (almost directly across the street).

This marker is not in the MassHighway Town Corners database. This may be because the town line does not change direction as it passes the boundary post. Survey sketches from a 1905 boundary atlas identify this marker as "roadstone".
