Gustave Oppermann was a prominent Galveston businessman. He left behind a wife and ten children.
Only three members of the Oppermann Family appear to be en tombed here - Gustave Oppermann, his wife Mary Anna Knodell Oppermann, and son Arthur Emil Oppermann, who died in 1948.
