Col Utber Swamp Tower Reserve - Koo Wee Rup, Vic, Australia - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

If you're travelling the South Gippsland Highway, the Col Utber Swamp Tower Reserve just south of Koo Wee Rup is a great place for a rest or a picnic, and if you are 'lucky', there may be a 'Donut Van' - ex Trip Advisor; tho they weren't there when I was, in May 2016!

There are several Commemorative Plaques in the Reserve, including:
* 150 years of Founding of Victoria - Erection of the Lookout Tower
* Opening of the Duplication of the South Gippsland Highway
* Release of Sambar Deer in 1868 close by
* Naming of the Reserve
* German Dredge [Axle] used to help drain the Swamp

And don't forget, the 'original' Waymark - the Orientation Table, and the Swamp Look-Out Tower
