The plaque reads:

			  [Flower logo]
			Warringah Council

  Here lies a time capsule, dedicated on 26 January 2000 during the Australia Day
Ceremony at the Governor Phillip Lookout, Beacon Hill. It contains information about
life in the Warringah local government area around the end of the 20th Century and
			messages from local children.
		    To be opened on Australia Day, 2050.
