The Philipsburg Boardwalk is one of the biggest attractions in the city. With a width of almost 50 feet (15 meters) and covering almost the entire length of the city's waterfront, the promenade serves as a "back porch" for hotels and restaurants on the south side of Front Street.
The boardwalk offers magnificent views of the ocean and mountains. A large beach also stretches along the promenade, where locals and tourists can play or relax on a lounge chair under an umbrella.
The coordinates were taken between Captain Hodge Wharf and Cyrus W. Wathely Square where we can see the map of the island and a compass rose on the pavement of the promenade.
