'De Tijdvrouw' van kunstenares Julia Berger stelt een vrouwenfiguur voor die een cirkel draagt en die zelfs door haar heen gaat. Typisch voor het werk van deze kunstenares zijn de langgerekte benen. Het beeld is 3,5 meter hoog en is van brons. In 2001 werd het beeld ingewijd. Het kwam er naar aanleiding van de viering van honderd jaar steenkool in Limburg. In As werd in 1901 voor het eerst steenkool gevonden door mijnbouwkundige en geoloog André Dumont.

'The Time Woman' by artist Julia Berger represents a female figure who wears a circle and who even goes through her. Typical for the work of this artist are the elongated legs. The sculpture is 3.5 meters high and is made of bronze. In 2001 the image was initiated. It came about as a result of the celebration of a hundred years of coal in Limburg. In As, coal was first found in 1901 by mining and geologist André Dumont.
