GSA Website"Occupying a full city block, it is located in the heart of downtown Beaumont, Texas. This three-story limestone neoclassical structure is a contributing element of the Beaumont Commercial Historic District and is a symbol of the federal presence in Beaumont, Texas for over 65 years. This building is unique because it was built in two phases thus making the building two different heights. The original construction consisted of three stories plus an attic and basement and was completed in 1934. In 1974, two additional stories and a basement were added.
Tenants include the U.S. District Courts, U.S. Postal Service, Department of Transportation, and the Department of Labor."
