On the Haydnplatz in Eisenstadt stands a statue of St. John Nepomuk on a quadrilateral column.
On the pillar there are several inscriptions:
One side of the column contains a chronogram that is referring to the year of its construction.

The Roman numerals contained in this text are larger than the other letters and together add up to the year 1732. Translated, the inscription presumably means "John of Nepomuk was drowned because he did not want to break the confessional secret" or something similar.
