Built in 1932, the lighthouse at Fort Oranje is a four story, 44 ft high, square, tapered pyramidal, stone tower painted a light tan. It replaced the wooden lighthouse built in 1868. It is an active lighthouse used as an aid to navigation. The light flashes white every 2 seconds. The harbor master's office is located within the fort. The bell is located on the fourth and last floor of the tower.
Fort Oranje is a small fort located in the center of Kralendijk. It was built in 1639 on behalf of the West India Company. Until 1837, the fort served as a defense but never saw action. It has four English cannons that date between 1808 and 1812.
Unfortunately, I did not find any information on the bell.
