[FR] A leur installation, les Carmes font construire un pont sur le Dolaizon pour faciliter l'accès de leur couvent. Le pont des Carmes est édifié en 1515.
D'une longueur de 21m, il traverse le Dolaizon grâce à une seule arche accusant un léger dos d'âne. Il a résisté à toutes les crues contrairement aux ponts de la Borne et de la Loire. Il est aujourd'hui réservé aux piétons, dans un site aménagé sur les rives du Dolaizon.

[EN] While sitting in, the Carmelites had a bridge built on the Dolaizon to facilitate access to their convent. The Pont des Carmes was built in 1515.
It measures 21m, it crosses the Dolaizon thanks to a single arch with a light humphback. It resisted all the floods unlike the bridges of the Borne and the Loire. It is now reserved for pedestrians, in a site built on the banks of the river Dolaizon.
