Construit entre 1914-1917, ce bâtiment central était occupé par les camions et, à l’étage, par les appartements des pompiers. La tour, d’architecture sobre, agrémentée de larmier décoratif et d’appuis de fenêtres supportés par des consoles fantaisistes, servait au séchage des boyaux. Des chambranles en appareillage de brique et des bandeaux décoratifs ornent le bâtiment.

The fire station was built between 1914 and 1917. Trucks occupied the ground floor, and the firemen lived in rooms on the second floor. The tower, a testimony to architectural sobriety, features decorative dripstone and windowsills supported by ornate brackets. It was used to dry the hoses. Frames made out of bonded brick and decorative listels complete the building’s architectural features.
