This sculpture garden extends along the boundary fence of Meadville, PA's highway maintenance garage property.

It was designed, built, and installed by students of Art Prof. Amara Geffen of Allegheny College. Stretching along route 322 for approximately 500 yards, it is a continous montage of life in Crawford County area.

Scenes of local attractions such as Woodcock Lake Dam, Conneaut Lake Parks Blue Streak Roller Coaster, the Crawford County Fair, and The Thurston Classic Hot Air Balloon Festival are depicted. Bentley Hall from the college along with storefronts and apartments are shown.

A barn and tractor show the agricultural side, and numerous depictions of local wildlife are scattered throughout - a frog, fish, deer, red fox, heron, ducks, and others catch your eye.

Winter scenes have sledders, snowmobiles, and ice skaters highlighting our areas most enduring season. A well rendered snow plow rounds out the scene.

You can't really miss this mural if passing by, even at night, as the road signs its constructed of reflect your headlights, giving the scene its own glow.

I can't really pick out a favorite from this attraction - I'm continuously discovering new aspects and details that I'd missed before. If I have to select one, I'll say the heron in the cat-tails. I love this site, and look forward to each addition as its installed.

The only drawback, the site lacks an official parking site. Theres no fee, and its always open.
