This unique vegetarian restaurant is located in Uptown OKC, northeast of Oklahoma City University. It appears that this structure used to be a home, since the interior has several separate rooms for dining. A colorful Red Cup themed mural can be found in the lot southwest of the restaurant, and a large 3-D red cup is on the roof above the entrance.
All of the menu items are vegetarian, but only some are vegan-friendly. However, the restaurant has a special night (Thursdays 4-7) when a larger selection of vegan food is available.
Menu options include items for breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, entrees and burgers, soups/salads/sides, bakery items, and coffee/tea.
During our visit, we tried the Vegan Chili Frito Pie, Tourist sandwich, Epic sandwich, Vegetarian #8 (which is like a grilled cheese sandwich with vegetables), apricot tea, chips and salsa, homemade sauerkraut, and the Vegan Cowboy Cookie. Every single thing we ate was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful.
Outside, covered dining is available (smoking is allowed), and next to the restaurant is a small and shady garden with a fountain and sculpture. There is a myriad of art work (paintings, mural, stained glass) hanging on the walls in every dining area of the establishment.
This restaurant has a shelf near the entrance where you can leave/take a book.
