This two-story red brick building is located at the corner of N. Main and E. Boston in downtown Yale. The building has seen better days, but the ground floor is occupied as a church, with the second level vacant.
The building faces N. Main. The storefront has a single glass door entry, flanked by brick half-walls and horizontal windows. The entry is covered by a metal shed canopy, and the clerestory is covered. All windows on the second level are multi-paned with arches bordered by two rows of end-laid brick. All are boarded with the exception of two on the front. At the roof line on the front the words MASONIC TEMPLE are written using raised tan-colored brick.
A large two-sided marble cornerstone is laid at the northwest corner are reads:
