Found, while headed north for a CITO Event. It looks like tin metal has been used, cut and bent to form the barrel-shaped body - for the letter-holding part of the mailbox. Grey painted metal wings have been soldered, or brazed onto the body. With a cylindrical neck, and yawning open orange beak attached to a metal head. The tin metal has been snipped in narrow strips to form a 'feathery' head-dress. Most of the body and head have been painted a light blue. With a slight tilt to its head it looks a bit cheeky.
It is attached to the top of a 20 cm diameter wooden post.
