The Yale Fire Department is located in a one-story rock-faced building which also houses the Yale city offices, police department and public library. Only one overhead vehicle door is located here, however, online information indicates that the Department owns 8 pieces of apparatus, which must be housed at another location.

The Yale city website indicates the Department has 11 volunteer firefighters, and 7 officers and staff. The Department has 911 and EMS services. Firefighter meetings are held here on the second Monday of each month at 7:00.
