Carillon / Glockenspiel am Rathaus zu Bad Langensalze
Beschreibung
Das Glockenspiel am Rathaus besteht aus 32 Glocken mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 1.250 kg und wurde von der Glocken- und Kunstgießerei in Sinn gefertigt. Die größte Glocke hat einen Durchmesser von 66,10 cm und ein Gewicht von 181,0 kg. Die kleinste Glocke hat einen Durchmesser von 18,5 cm und wiegt 10,0 kg.
Je 8 Glocken tragen die Namenszüge "Siemons, Eisenberg, Franke und Tanhauer". Die fünf Figuren mit jeweils etwa 80 cm Höhe wurden von Bildhauer Oester aus Herborn-Uckersdorf gefertigt. Sie wurden auf einem starren Kreissegment befestigt. Unmittelbar vor Erklingen des Glockenspiels erscheinen die Figuren.
14 verschiedene Melodien stehen zur Auswahl, welche je nach Jahreszeit oder Anlass jeweils um 12 Uhr und 18 Uhr erklingen.
The chimes at the town hall consist of 32 bells with a total weight of 1,250 kg and were made by the bell and art foundry in mind. The largest bell has a diameter of 66.10 cm and a weight of 181.0 kg. The smallest bell has a diameter of 18.5 cm and weighs 10.0 kg.
The names "Siemons, Eisenberg, Franke and Tanhauer" each bear 8 bells. The five figures, each about 80 cm tall, were made by sculptor Oester from Herborn-Uckersdorf. They were attached to a rigid circular segment. Immediately before the chimes sound, the figures appear.
There are 14 different melodies to choose from, which, depending on the season or occasion, are heard at 12 o 'clock and 6 o 'clock.
