Le Club de tir l'Acadie est situé sur le chemin du Ruisseau des Noyers à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Il existe depuis 1962. Il a été l’hôte des Jeux Olympiques de Montréal de 1976.

Les competitions de tir aux Jeux olympiques d’été de 1976 à Montréal comprenait sept épreuves, toutes ouvertes aux hommes et aux femmes (mixte). Pour la toute première fois, une femme a remporté une médaille olympique en tir: Margaret Murdock a décroché la médaille d’argent dans l’épreuve des trois positions.

L'Acadie Shooting Club is located on chemin des Ruisseau des Noyers in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

It has been in existence since 1962. It hosted the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.

Shooting at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal comprised seven events, all open to both men and women (mixed). For the first time ever, a woman won an Olympic medal in shooting: Margaret Murdock caught the silver in the three positions event.
