Fannie L. Taylor was born just a few months after the United States Civil War ended.

Mrs. Taylor is buried in the Taylor family plot, which is marked by a tall gray, granite headstone with the family name, "Taylor", on both sides. The family members have footstones, and Mrs. Taylor's is easy to miss, as it backs right up to a Woodmen of the World monument belonging to a non-Taylor family member. The footstone reads:
