The church has a minor presence on the Internet through a
Facebook page, but beyond that, there are only web-spidered directory listings and a sign at the entrance that notes that they've been around since 1862. Cana is today a quiet rural community, with scattered homes, this church, and the cemetery behind it. The cemetery dates to 1868, and a previous caretaker, Emmett Lee Terry, is memorialized on the cemetery archway within sight of his final resting place here. He is buried next to a sister, and his modern gray, granite headstone is nothing fancy, with floral detail in the lower corners and this inscription:
