"The Roundel Trail -
Ten bronze roundels created by local sculptor Ivan Williams are set in different locations within the Close. They depict significant people, ceremonies, art and workmanship associated with the cathedral, many of which may be seen inside. The roundels depict St Ethelbert (Patron of the cathedral), the Shrine of St Thomas (Bishop of Hereford 1275 - 1282), Thomas Traherne (Hereford's 17th century priest, writer and poet), the Romanesque Font, a Chalice and Host, The Hereford Corona, the Willis Organ, the Green Man and designs from Mappa Mundi and the Chained Library."
