The Hawkwatch tower at Beamer Memorial Conservation Area was constructed specifically to provide hawk-watchers with a better view of the skies and area. The Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch has operated here since 1975. the hawkwatch operates daily from March 1st to the middle of May, from 8 am to 4pm. During those times, hawkwatch volunteers will be positioned on the tower, trying to count and record all migrating raptors. Visitors are welcome, just be courteous to the work they are doing (or better yet, bring your binoculars and help out with the count). Outside of those specific days, the tower stands empty and visitors to the park can access it as they please.
There is no fee to use this park.
