From the National Register of Historic Places Nomination Form: The Settlement Historic District - Texas City, Texas:

106 S. Bell Drive. Frank Bell, Jr. House, ca. 1926. Contributing.

"The large, 1 1/2-story home at 106 South Bell Drive is a hallmark of the middle class prosperity that defined the Settlement in the early 20th century. The Craftsman style of architecture, popular in the period between the world wars, is especially evident in houses built by Frank Bell, Jr. who was part owner in a real estate company. This house can be seen in family photographs dating from 1926 when it appeared new. It has a full front gable with inset front porch. Flanking the centered entry, the porch supports are half brick and half tapering wood columns. The concrete stoop has brick piers on each side. The front has a double window centered in the gable and there is a small gabled dormer on one side of the roof The foundation features brick and concrete piers. The original narrow-strip wood siding is in place. Exposed rafter tails can be seen under the wide overhanging eaves. This house still looks almost exactly as it did in the 1926 photo."
