EN: The gondola lift from Saas-Grund to Kreuzboden overcomes an altitude difference of 841 meters over a total length of 2438 meters. The valley station is located north of the village center of Saas-Grund. The gondolas each have six seats and a ride takes about ten minutes.

The lift was built in 1997 and replaced an older one, which had been put into operation in 1978. Previously, there had been a gondola lift at this location since 1967, which was destroyed in 1971 by an avalanche.

Die Anlage wurde 1997 erbaut und ersetzte eine ältere, die 1978 in Betrieb gegangen war. Zuvor hatte es schon ab 1967 eine Gondelbahn an dieser Stelle gegeben, die aber 1971 von einer Lawine zerstört wurde.
