Hudson Performance Hall was constructed in 1955. This 1,400 seat auditorium serviced the northwest Oklahoma City area. Many an orchestra and band concert has been held here, as well as stage performances and business training. The Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra played here during the years that their permanent home, the Civic Center Music Hall, was under renovations.

The hall was renovated as part of the 2010 MAPS for Kids project; the dressing rooms were remodeled and showers were added, an unused space was converted into a green room, and a private gift of half a million dollars was used to install a world-class acoustical and multimedia system which included a Yamaha sound system, a top-of-the-line loudspeaker management system by Harman, JBL speakers, and a new monitoring system.

The "Grand Opening Gala" of 2012 featured country singer Vince Gill, whose statue is found in front of the building.
