This is a much smaller version of the enclosed Swimming Pool of the late 1920's (as shown in the Historical Marker up by the road. The pool is now about 6 metres squared, with a wooden platform surrounding it on three sides and the grassy riverbank on the other side.
The Historical Marker has a photo from 1937, showing an impressively tall wooden Diving Tower (in use), based on an old dead gum tree.
There are NO lifeguards here.
