[FR] La fontaine de Plum a été aménagée en haut du col du même nom. C’est un lieu idéal où se rafraîchir avec une eau de source pure et limpide. Une usine d’embouteillage, celle des Eaux du Mont-Dore est installée à quelques encablures de cette fontaine.

C’est en 1955 que le syndicat d’initiative a l’idée de capter la source et de créer un bassin ouvert à tous. Il sera baptisé Fontaine Joseph Bourgeois, du nom d’un de ses membres qui eut l’idée de cette fontaine. Aujourd’hui, les Mondoriens viennent s’y approvisionner en eau, n’hésitez pas, vous aussi, à remplir vos bouteilles !

[EN] The Plum fountain was built at the top of the gap of the same name. It is an ideal place to cool off with pure and clear spring water. The bottling factory of 'Eaux du Mont-Dore' is installed not far from this fountain.

It was in 1955 that the tourist office had the idea of capturing the source and creating a pool open to all. It will be named Joseph Bourgeois Fountain, named after one of its members who had the idea of this fountain. Today, Mondorians come to get water, do not hesitate, to fill your own bottles too !

Please post an original picture of the springs no GPS necessary along with your observations of the spring. What wildlife you saw if any and the condition of the springs. Water level was high, low. The area was clean, trashy ect. Any other knowledge or experiences you have had with this paticular spring that would help document it's history.
