Le parcours effectue une boucle d’environ 3,4 kilomètres, avec un départ sur le Port de Chandon. Il vous permet de découvrir l’histoire du Cher canalisé ainsi que les hommes et les bateaux qui y sont liés.

Vous trouverez, sur votre chemin, deux kiosques d’interprétation ainsi qu’une maquette expliquant le fonctionnement du barrage à aiguilles de Nitray (inscrit à l’inventaire des monuments historiques).

The course makes a loop of approximately 3.4 kilometers, with a departure on the Port of Chandon. It allows you to discover the history of Cher channeled as well as the men and the boats that are linked to it.

You will find on your way, two interpretive kiosks and a model explaining the operation of the Nitray Needle Dam (listed in the inventory of historical monuments).
