À l’origine, quatre moulins (XVII/XVIIIe s.) occupaient les hauteurs de Saint Saturnin lès Apt.

Aujourd’hui, cette commune s’enorgueillit de posséder encore une de ces magnifiques constructions en parfait état de conservation, sur la crête ventée du village.

Vous remarquerez la pente de la toiture particulièrement bien adaptée au souffle du Mistral

Au pied du moulin on note une aire carrelée de battage et de séchage du blé.

Originally, four mills (17th / 18th century) occupied the heights of Saint Saturnin lès Apt.
Today, this commune is proud to have one more of these magnificent buildings in perfect condition, on the windy ridge of the village.

You will notice the slope of the roof particularly well adapted to the breath of the Mistral
At the foot of the mill is a tiled threshing and drying area for wheat.
